In Bedroom, DIY Furniture, Wall Shelves/Storage

When I was given two old doors, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with them, but I knew I could repurpose them into something incredible.  Eventually, I decided to make a storage unit in my daughter’s bedroom.  Here is the final result.

If you haven’t seen the previous posts in this series, I repurposed the first door into a bookshelf, and I repurposed the second door into a desk.  Finally, using mainly scrap wood, I made a window bench to connect everything together.  See the previous posts here:

My daughter absolutely loves the unit, especially the window bench.  It adds so much extra storage to her small bedroom, and I’m sure she will use it for years to come.
